Flower-mangle

My father wanted to get rid of this clothes-mangle, that he has been storing in his basement for years, and asked me if I wanted to have it.

It has some really nice parts that I am keeping for potential future use. The hand wheel, gears and leaf spring are all beautifully made.

After tearing it down, I found some leftover pieces of old construction wood that I used to make a simple “stair” to place the plants on.

A quick repurpose that made me a happy wife and a happy cat.
