Hooks for the bathroom

We needed some hooks for towels next to the bathtub in our bathroom. I made a base from an old cutting board.

To have something to grab hold on while routing the profile on the base I attached a block of wood using masking tape and superglue. I have seen this trick on the internet for a few years, but this is the first time I tried it. It stuck really well and was easy to remove with a bit of force.

The base was coated with boiled linseed oil and the hooks was screwed on to the base.

The base was fixed to the wall with Gorilla mounting tape. I think it fits nicely with the other furniture in the bathroom.
